My great passion for jewelry, fashion and history provided me with the idea for Ayoe Jewelry.
Each piece of jewelry from Ayoe has its own imprint from the past, inspired by the crafts of the Afghan nomads, the Kuchi people. The Kuchis are itinerant tribespeople who have been travelling along the Afghan borders since the early 1920s. Their pieces were originally used for decorating clothing, hats, belts and elaborate jewelry.
Each of my interpretations of the historic jewelry has been given a different Afghan girl’s name that carries a special meaning. Thereby, every piece has its own story and soul.
If you choose to wear a piece from Ayoe Jewelry, I believe that you love the idea of starting a new chapter in the ongoing history, soul and heritage of jewelry.
